(1) Subscription model - traditional JKPS publishing model
The Publication Fee, when an article is accepted, is 350,000 KRW (or 350 USD).
* Please transfer the copyright to the Korea Physical Society.

(2) Open Access (OA) model
To publish Open Access, authors are required to pay an article-processing charge (APC; 2990 USD) to Springer Nature.

* The author will have the copyright.
* If you have paid OA APC to Springer, please send the payment information to jkps@kps.or.kr. We refund the JKPS publication fee.
* After 14 days of choosing OA, cancellation is not possible and you have to pay APC. If within 14 days, please contact OR Support (ORsupport@springernature.com) directly to request cancellation.

(3) Applying for Publication Charge (PC) waivers
Authors whose manuscript is accepted for publication in JKPS can apply for PC waivers. To apply for an APC waiver, please fill out and submit the PC waiver application form (can be downloaded here: [Application Form for Waiver of Article Publication Charge]) to [jkps@kps.or.kr].
We will consider manuscripts as first priority whose first or corresponding authors are based in countries classified as lowincome or lower-middle-income economies by the World Bank [https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519].
Any author who are in need of APC waiver can also apply. The decision will be made in monthly basis by the executive editorial board.
