Conformal Frame Dependence on Cosmological Observations in Scalar-Tensor Theories of Gravity

Abstract
While the conformal transformation has proven to be a useful mathematical tool, its use has been a debate on whether the two conformal frames are physically equivalent or not. This question might not be answered at the classical level. We show the frame dependences of observable quantities like the Hubble parameter and angular diameter distance as a function of frame independent parameter, redshift. We explicitly show that if one adopts the one frame for the data analysis of observable quantities, then the obtained cosmological parameters should be applied to that frame only.
